This series consists of subsidiary registers maintained by the Mining Registrar, Darwin. Subsidiary registers were kept by mining registrars in the major centres of the Northern Territory. Mining Registrars recorded transactions in their district's subsidiary register and then updated the relevant tenement registers. Volume 1 contains the following sections; Warden's Court plaint book (nos 2/62-1/77), withdrawals (nos 4/60-11/78), transfers (nos 54/61-16/78), orders of court (nos 1/47-6/72), objections (nos 6/62-420/76), exemptions (nos 164/62-167/78), declarations of loss (nos1/54-4/79), devolutions (nos 1/47-6/70), application to amend register (nos 1/48-39/72), and agreements (nos 9/57-5/76).
